Oh, My

I am in love with fashion and become extremely excited when the Oscars come around because I get to see the beautiful gowns. My favorite?

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton. I may be a bit biased because I got to see the actress recently at a screening of My Week With Marilyn and got the pleasure to see and hear her talk about portraying the iconic bombshell(which by the way she did lovely in). All in all this was my absolute favorite look of the night!

Stoned

Oh, my boyfriend.

He's awesome. He surprised me with an exciting weekend getaway to the Stone Brewery in Escondido. We have talked about this for awhile and finally made it happen! The weekend was a lot of fun, it's been awhile since we've spent the whole weekend together so this was an extremely nice surprise!

I didn't get a picture of the actual hotel room, but I did want to take a picture of the fancy toliet paper

Waiting in line for the Brewery tour drinking a delicious beer

Nothing like a delicious beer on a nice sunny day

The weekend was awesome and I hope to go back to the Stone Brewery because not only do they have delicious beer, but they also provide a really fun atmosphere to drink and meet people

Okay

So I've been missing in action for the past week because, well, I don't have a very good reason. Busy, you know? With school, running 3 miles (no walking!), drinking beer out of my normal beer favored and flavored palate, and pinteresting. My new obsession. And ogling over saled pumps on Barneys New York website. Never in my life did I think I could afford haute shoes? (pun intended)

I've just been all over the place, and also trying to figure out what to blog about. My daily life consists of waking up, drinking my cup of coffee and watching 'reality' tv, and sometimes scripted, and then heading to the gym to work my ass off, taking a shower and going into work. Oh, and sometimes I go to school. Checking fashion blogs, looking for future outfit inspiration and looking at more clothes, anywhere and everywhere I can find. But for now, I just gawk, and currently these have my eye (obviously 'they' come in a pair, but the website only shows one)

Bananarama

There were bananas laying around slowly rotting to their death so I decided to make banana bread (a tradition because my mom always does that when the bananas are not longer edible). I found a healthier recipe for banana bread that used applesauce. The taste of the bread was amazing! Only things I would change are personal, such as learning how to 'watch' what I am baking, and putting it in for much less time than the recipe calls for.

I've got a love letter

Oh Nicholas,

the cutest, sweetest kindergartener at work. He always goes out of his way to say "hello" and definitely makes sure to say "goodbye" when he leaves. His face is just so cute and honestly I can't get enough of how sweet he truly is! I hope when I have a kid he or she is a genuine child like Nicholas.

Today I went into work and all the kids greeted me with "Hi Miss Liz!". It was really cool because they're not usually in the room I go into when I first arrive so it was an extremely nice surprise. After they all said hello, Nicholas came up to me with a big smile on his face and said, "Miss Liz, I have something for you! Can I give it to you during snack time?" I said, "Of course Nicholas! I'm excited to see what it is!" and the biggest smile grew on his face.

Right before the bell rang to greet the upper graders Nicholas came up to me and asked if he could give me the thing he was excited about. "Definitely!"

He hands me an envelope with this inside

His cheeks were the reddest I have ever seen and he smiled the biggest smile I have ever seen. It really warmed my heart! Things like this make me love my job and how I have an affect on kids.
