We plan to go this summer but need to sort things out now to ensure getting the best possible prices. To be honest it's not quite a reality yet because we haven't purchased anything but also because it's still so far away. We plan to stay a little over a month and EXPLORE!
Haven't experienced anything like this...will be an adventure of a lifetime!
Oh how awesome! I hope you end up going. And to make things cheaper you can always stay in youth hostels and rough it. When you're in Italy be sure to have gelato as much as you can (if you like ice cream). Have the time of your life!
